Best team in Israel

Interesting badge do you see the hammer and sickle,Yes Celtics opponents in the Europa league were founded by Socialists and have always been supporters of the left in Israel.Their political rivals on the football field are Beitar Jerusalem, who by all accounts are right wing Jewish fanatics and all round bad guys.

So good luck Hapoel or the Red Devils as you are otherwise known.I hope you get 2nd place.

Got the tickets through for the Rapid Vienna game. Tachycardia and aff ma food already! Went to the Dundee Utd game on saturday. Entertaining, but I think the old firms dominance over the domestic game is comin tae an end!

I watched the Dundee Utd game that linesman was a fecking cheat,That goal was never offside. At the Rapid game could you throw a bottle for me?

Can’t find any europa league channels here and I’ve no internet so it’ll be BBC world for the result.

Can’t say I’m too bothered about Hapoel’s history. The israeli political spectrum is just one big blur to me, I have to say.

Aye its the usual predictable refereeing. Havn`t seen the highlights but Samaras didn`t look offside from where I was sitting. Its the same with the Hearts Rangers game a few weeks ago, Rangers get a man sent off early in the game and I would have bet my house on them gettin a penalty at some point. What happens? They get one and go on to win the game. Have I got second sight or what?

The feckin ban on Eduardo has been dropped by UEFA as well. The McGeady ban still stands after his sending off.

Its a conspiracy Peter. Better aff with english fitbaw. Watched The Damned United movie the other night, great film!

Thats funny Mark I just put that film on the netflix Q although it is not released here yet.
Mark the decisions by that linesman were a disgrace.

Stevie glad you made it to Oman safe and sound,The Europa league isn’t on here either I wiil be watching it on the Computer when I come home from work.

  6. stevie Says:

Aye, settling in okay here. Right on the beach and the work seems like what it was when we here last- pretty easy.

Quite a big college though so there’s a sizeable ex-pat community, meaning only one thing- that I yet again have to build my reputation as the most unsocial man in the place.

Dunno why people think that because we speak the same language and are ‘Westerners’ that we’ve got to be mates.

‘Hello. Would you like to come round to mine for a party’
    ‘No. I fucking hate parties.’

Maybe that’ll do it. Or maybe I won’t even be asked. And that’ll serve me right.

  7. bingabinga Says:

Glad yer in a nice spot Stevie you should reach out to these fellow ex pats maybe they are just a bit lonely being abroad.Or maybe they are wanks who knows?
